Hi there, I’m Damien and here at OpenCandy, I am a problem solver.

I have been writing software since I can remember having a computer. My first acheivement was writing a progam named XMPS back in the 90’s which was one of the first open source video player architectures for Linux. This led me to DivX where I led several software projects including most of the DivX Web Player application and many other fun things.

I care about my craft and the combination of OpenCandy’s vision and excellent team gives me confidence that we can make a difference in the software business.

I am an acoustic guitar player and I enjoy many sports such as mountainbiking, trail running and tennis. I am also French which explains a lot.
